Wesley Uniting Church Tennis Club

The Wesley Uniting Church Tennis Club (also called Wesley Tennis Club) is a happy, supportive, open, and inclusive tennis-playing community, welcoming people regardless of age, tennis skill, and fitness level, outside interests or church involvement. There is wide variation across all these, but we all enjoy our tennis.  Wesley Tennis Club has a long tradition of tennis in Canberra, having operated since the 1940s.

Located in the heart of Canberra’s inner south, the club is close to offices, hotels and apartments in the parliamentary precinct and the social hubs of Manuka and Kingston. It is ideally located for nearby residents, office workers or hotel guests.

The tennis club meets practically every Saturday afternoon on the two courts behind Wesley church. From the beginning of the calendar year until the end of daylight savings, tennis starts at 4pm while the rest of the year starting time is 2pm. A number of members also play in spring, summer and autumn on Wednesday evenings. All welcome. Please come along on Saturday afternoon or Wednesday evening ready for a game. Contact Rob through the parish office.

The court is also AVAILABLE FOR HIRE BY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC see Court Hire.
