CAR PARKING AT WESLEY UNITING CHURCH, NATIONAL CIRCUIT, CANBERRA (entrance at 22 Fitzroy Street Forrest)

Wesley Uniting Church has car parking facilities for the convenience of the church members/users of the complex which includes Children’s and Family services, services to OlderCitizens, Tennis Club, Gym Complex activities, Music Centre, Church Worship services, Men’s Shed and many other services to the community. When there are spare parking spaces which are not allocated to these activities we allot these for hire to the community in the area.

Allocations from the waiting list are in strict order – subject to the policy referred to below.

WAITING LIST POLICY

There is a special waiting list policy in place relating to offers of spaces available which you may feel you are not in a position to take up from the waiting list when an offer is made. Please see this policy in the attached Waiting List Policy document.

CAR PARKING FEES

You may download the car parking fees for 2024 Car Parking Fees. These fees are subject to change in June each year for the following half yearly, quarterly or monthly payment periods. Changes to the fees in December each year relate to the following calendar yearly, half yearly, quarterly or monthly payment periods. If you choose to make a yearly payment for the calendar year, any increase to the fees in the following June will not be applied for the remainder of that calendar year. When you are offered a car parking space from the waiting list please note you will be supplied with any update to the fees that may be applicable.

BOOM GATE – Access Card Refundable Deposit

A boom gate is in operation for the management of the car parking facility. Users are allocated with an Access Card for which a refundable deposit of $25 is required before delivery. If a user loses or damages their card they forfeit the deposit and must pay a further refundable deposit to have a replacement card issued.
