Music Venue Hire

The Wesley Music has a variety of different spaces available for hire. Centrally located in the inner south, right near Capital Hill, the Music Centre is easily accessible via car (with on-site parking) bicycle or public transport. Talk to us about finding the right space for your music activity today. 

The Music Centre can be hired for a diversity of uses, such as concerts, music courses, recording sessions, private music teaching, regular U3A courses, music examinations, master classes and public lectures. Details about each of our spaces are below. 

Joint Ventures are also possible but need to be first discussed with the Director of the Music Centre.

Public Liability Insurance: Hirers (but not Joint Venturers) are required to have PLI.  If you do not already have PLI, that covers our venue, we can arrange $10m cover (excess $500). The fees are listed below.

The Mansfield Room

Opened in 2002, the Mansfield room is a purpose-built performance venue beloved by local musicians. This unique space boasts adjustable acoustics, an elevated stage and is home to a stunning Yamaha Grand Piano. Seminar Room

The Seminar room is ideal for workshops, seminars and meetings. Includes tables with seating for up to 18 people, whiteboard, and Yamaha electric keyboard, and perfectly equipped as a green room for events in the Mansfield room, as it features a sink with mirror. This sunlit room is a delightful space for your next meeting.

Bach Room

The Bach room is an ideal teaching space for both private lessons and small groups. With a Steinway Grand piano, harpsichord and whiteboard.

Music Centre Foyer & Kitchen

The Foyer of the Music centre is a welcoming space where audiences can mingle before a concert, or with refreshments after an event.

Wesley Uniting Church

The Wesley Uniting church is a grand space available for concerts. With a large capacity, and functional side spaces (such as the choir stalls), this venue can be used for a diverse range of setups. Featuring a historic Pipe Organ, Yamaha Grand Piano, sound system and a stunning acoustic, this is the perfect venue for your next performance.

"Stage space": fits a chamber orchestra and/or community choir (front pews can be removed for extra space)
