The Verandah

Donations of non-perishable foodstuffs in small serves are always welcome for The Verandah, our outreach at the Stuart Flats in Griffith.

Volunteers from the St Aidan’s, Wesley, Canberra Baptist and St Paul’s churches open the community space called The Verandah on three lunchtimes per week, making available food parcels as well as space for meeting friends, fellowship, and having a cuppa.

Especially on communion Sundays we bring donations for this work, although goodies can be left at any time in the supermarket trolley near the office at Wesley.
