Saturday 20 March 8pm "Tall Tales" Canberra Classical Guitar Society presents Rory O’Donoghue (narrator) with the Sydney Guitar Trio (Raffaele Agostino, Janet Agostino and Richard Charlton) in a stunning performance of works including: Alice in Wonderland: Claude, Geebung: Richard Charlton, A Masque for Lady Nothing: Phillip Houghton, selections from Platero and I: Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and The 6 Quarks: Richard Charlton- guitar duet, written in 2009 for Duo Agostino. *Sunday 21 March 3pm Organ Recital by Frank Tamsitt. One of Australia’s finest young organ scholars, Frank Tamsitt (LMus – Sydney Conservatorium), will perform J.S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in G Major (BWV 541), Trio Sonata in G (BWV 530), Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor (BWV 593) and a selection of chorales by Schubler. *Sunday 21 March 3pm  “A Taste of Honey” Art Song Canberra’s Season of Song Concert 1 featuring Christina Wilson (mezzo-soprano), Robert Harris (viola) and Alan Hicks (piano). This program inspired by “Bs” will include music by Johannes Brahms (8 Zigeunerlieder, Op.103; 2 Lieder, Op.91), Frank Bridge (Three Songs), Arthur Benjamin (Five Spirituals) and Budapest-born Matyas Seiber (Four Hungarian Folksongs).  Enjoy the sweetness of fine chamber music performed by this brilliant trio. *Sunday 2 May 3pm “Autumn Fire” Art Song Canberra’s Season of Song Concert 2 featuring Angela Giblin (mezzo-soprano) and Margaret Legge-Wilkinson (piano). Be swept away by the passion of Szymanowski's early post-romantic songs and the delicacy of Debussy's Fêtes Galantes II. In a fascinating exploration of 20th century art song, you will also hear Lieder by Alban Berg, songs by Ned Rorem and a new arrangement of Margaret Legge-Wilkinson's The Mountain composed to the poetry of Australian poet, Stephanie Green.
